Introductory course in Python code language, legal and practical insights in legal tech solutions (chatbots, legal search engines, smart contracts). The course also involves an introduction to the concept of legal design thinking.

Developed in close collaboration with ACRAI, the Antwerp Center on Responsible AI, this programme allows you to discover the core principles of responsible AI and how they shape innovation, fairness, and trust. Target group: This summer school is primarily designed for master’s students with an interest in law and technology, and does not require any prior legal or technical knowledge. PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and professionals with relevant experience in the field are also welcome to apply.
In this summer school, students will gain a better understanding of the concepts of legal technology and responsible artificial intelligence. More specifically:
The summer school ends with a Legal Tech Game. Students who successfully pass this test, will receive a certificate of completion.
3 ECTS credits are awarded upon successful completion of the programme.
