As a researcher, it is important to look beyond the boundaries of your own discipline and to collaborate with experts from other fields. Interdisciplinary collaboration can lead to new insights for addressing shared research questions or objectives.
To encourage interdisciplinary research, the Scientific Research Committee and the departments of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences jointly organise the 'Interdisciplinary Medical & Health Seminars'.
Annually, multiple departments jointly invite one or more international top speakers to participate in three thematic seminars. Each seminar comprises a series of thematic lectures addressing interdisciplinary topics that emphasize the complementarity between different research areas and their applications. The discussions encompass state-of-the-art fundamental (bio)medical research, as well as translational and clinical research.
Target audience: students, researchers, clinicians and everyone with an interest for fundamental (bio)medical research as well as translationale and clinical research. For physicials accreditation will be requested.
