Social innovation and human centered design in the city context

Get to know everything about social innovation and human centered design in the city context! We will be thinking and doing on superdiversity, creative storytelling, citizen driven design, creative democracy and even your own city challenge case.


Program

We offer a 5-day practical, inspiring and engaging summer school on ‘social innovation and human centered design in the city context’.

Product, service and system designers (from local and international agencies), social innovators, academic researchers, and multiple other experts from (non-)profit organizations and governmental institutions will guide you through this summer school on social city design. You will be thinking and doing on the following subjects, from different perspectives:

  • Superdiversity in the city

  • Interactive storytelling in the city context

  • Citizen driven design

  • Social care, social city?

  • Creative democracy

  • Human centered design and city challenges

Remarks

3 ECTS credits are awarded upon successful completion of the programme. All certificates of completion are issued as a micro-credential.
