Can fashion save the world? Find out during your lectures in Antwerp and Paris!


Master the ins and outs of fashion management in two global fashion capitals: Antwerp and Paris! During the first week in Antwerp you get a comprehensive overview of the fashion industry (focus on independent fashion designers) and their dynamics, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and sustainability. During the second week we travel to Paris to get more insights into the importance of craftsmanship in the luxury industry.

Target group:
Professionals and (recently graduated) master students, highly interested in or motivated to work in the fashion industry, with or without experience in the sector.
In past editions we welcomed participants from many different counties across the world such as: Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Pakistan, U.K., U.S.A ...

Candidates for the summer school on Fashion Management will be selected based on their motivation and relevant background in education (preferably master level) or work experience.


Attend this unique program that aims at growing managerial talents for the fashion industry, covering topics from fashion marketing and PR, to finance, supply chain management and leadership in fashion.

Successful completion of the summer school can be awarded with 3 credits according the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Credits will be awarded for participants who successful complete the full programme. During and after the summer school, participants work together with a fashion designer/ entrepreneur to design a business plan for the practitioner’s case. With this exercise participants apply their knowledge and insights acquired through the lectures, debates, study visits and literature to a 'real life' case. With this business plan students prove insight in the opportunities and pitfalls that organizations face when doing business in fashion.

To include the credits in the curriculum at the home institution, participants need an agreement with the responsible person at the home institution.

A certificate will be awarded at the end of the programme. All certificates of completion are issued as a micro-credential.
