Description

In today’s diverse and fast-changing workplaces, balanced leadership is more than a buzzword — it’s essential.

Join us for an inspiring and interactive 3-hour workshop, designed exclusively for alumni who see connection as the cornerstone of balanced leadership and want to build cultures where trust, collaboration, and psychological safety can thrive.

We’ll focus on two key ingredients for balanced leadership: psychological safety — creating an environment where everyone feels safe to speak up — and your Different Voice — the unique perspective you bring to the table and how to use it with confidence.

You’ll learn what psychological safety is, what your different voice means in a professional context, and practical ways to use both to foster inclusive, high-trust teams.

Through lively discussions, role-playing, and peer feedback, you’ll walk away with concrete strategies and the confidence to speak up — and stand out.

Program

The following topics will be covered:

  • Why inclusive corporate cultures matter (hint: think about critical thinking).
  • Psychological safety: what it is, why it matters, and how to cultivate it
  • Carol Gilligan’s concept of the “Different Voice” and how to use it in your work

After this course you will have:

  • More confidence to navigate and contribute effectively in workplace environments using your unique perspective
  • A deeper understanding of psychological safety at work
  • Insight into your own Different Voice

No prior knowledge needed

All alumni of the faculty of Arts and Philosophy are welcome
