Peri-implantitis presents a growing challenge in implant dentistry, forcing clinicians to make complex decisions between preserving or removing dental implants. This lecture explores the biological, clinical, and patient-related factors that influence these critical choices. Attendees will gain insight into the etiology and progression of peri-implantitis and how early diagnosis impacts treatment outcomes.
