We want to extend a warm welcome for the launch of the FORUM+ October issue and new dossier “The art school as an ecosystem” on 20 October 2023. In collaboration with ARIA and in the framework of the Articulate Research Month, FORUM+ will present a symposium panel on “The art school as an ecosystem: future perspectives on higher arts education” with the following confirmed experts:

• Keynote Jaana Erkkilä-Hill: vice rector of research at the University of the Arts Helsinki and vice president of the Society for Artistic Research (SAR)
• Koenraad Hinnekint: researcher and educational developer at LUCA School of Arts and coordinator of Erasmus+ project FAST45
• Closing remarks by Pascal Gielen: writer and professor sociology, member of the Antwerp Research Institute for the Arts (ARIA) at University of Antwerp and chair at the Culture Commons Quest Office (CCQO)

Program

The panel will take place in the “Witte Zaal” at De Singel (Desguinlei 25, 2018 Antwerpen) between 2.00 and 4.00 pm. Afterwards, you can enjoy an artistic performance in “Gele Zaal” from 4.00 to 5.00 pm. To conclude this evening, stay for a pleasant chat and raise a glass with us to our new publication. What is more, FORUM (precursor of FORUM+) is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
